Plasma spray

Principle of the Plasma (also known as gas-plasma)deposition has been known for more than half a century - in an electric arcbetween the cooled cathode and anode in the form of the nozzle is fed gas,forming a high-temperature plasma jet. This stream is fed filler powder, whichis heated in the form of two-phase flow departs from the nozzle and spray hitsthe surface. Upon impact the particles of powder fuses and paralyzed on theproduct, forming a protective coating.

Inert gas is used not only for the transportationof the sprayed material, but also for the shift away from the plasma jetnozzle, as well as - for direct cooling of the nozzle.

With our plasma machine (produced by Praxair, bestmanufacturer of plasma systems), you can:

• coatings with different properties (durable /wears out frictional / sliding, resistant to heat, corrosion, corrosiveenvironments, etc.) for products of different shapes;

• restore worn parts to the products or coatings(for example - neck rolls, sleeves, fingers, etc.);

• use for the application of various materials:metals, their alloys, oxides, corundum, carbides and Prospect, getting coveragewith the desired properties;

• cover products from a variety of materials,including not allowing heat treatment furnace;

• sprayed coating on the entire surface of parts orsections;

However, thanks to the optimal settings that youset in uniform high-density coating with the required properties of thesurface. Proper selection of materials allows to obtain high adhesion strength(35-80MPa) with the base, high density (90-95%) and low porosity coatings(0,8-5%).
